Would not stay here again! Furniture in Lobby was dirty and torn. Not much on the breakfast bar. I liked the location but that was the only good thing. Beds were not very comfortable. Overall just a bad experience!
This is the worst place I have ever stayed at. It smells awfull from the second you walk it. My chilren said It smelled like armpit. The room was dirty. We had to call and complain that there was a used bar of soap in the bathroom and the bathroom floor was dirty also the furniture was sticky. The wrost part is that I pre paid for 3 nights. NEVER AGAIN!

The breakfast was great for kids! They love the small individual cereal boxes and the selections! Danish, Bagels, selection of Fresh Fruit and they did keep the items filled! We found the Staff very friendly! We had two rooms, one on the first floor and the other on the 2nd floor. Yes the rooms were clean! If you are looking for a clean room and a Friendly Staff stay here! We will be going back! If you are looking for a Fancy Place go somewhere else and pay the price!

Our room did not look like it had been thoroughly cleaned or made up. The entire property needs to be renovated.
The hotel staff was unfriendly and rude. Our credit card number was used to charge someone else's room, and we are still trying to get the unauthorized charge removed, but not having any luck.

This hotel is a dump and there is no pool! When we got there and registered, the manager handed us a receipt. They had already charged my card before we checked in! I've never had something like this happen. I usually pay with my option of credit cards or cash when we check out. We were also told when Day Out With Thomas is in town, they get the majority of their business from that event.
As we were walking toward our room, I noticed the hallway was dirty and dusty. The rooms and lobby area are outdated and obviously done in the cheapest way possible. On a positive note, the continental breakfast was good and I saw someone restock the food. The rooms also had a small refrigerator. The clientele of this hotel is obviously young families on a budget, it probably would have been empty if the Thomas event wasn't going on. We sat in the hall while our son went off to sleep for naptime and bedtime. The biggest disappointment was no pool! I think someone should have notified us of this or made it obvious before we made our reservations, as I certainly would never have come here without a pool. It was hotter than you can imagine and the fact that there was no pool really made the stay miserable.
I am not likely
to return to the Days Inn Ronks Lancaster East.
I would not recommend it to friends.

The only problem we encountered was that the door to our room was left ajar by the housekeeper while we were out. The front desk clerk was very nice and even offered to help find other things for us to do when rain caused us to change our plans.
