I am a working professional who stayed at the Days Inn in Rolla, MO in late June 2007. I feel that it is my duty to warn others about the motel’s flea problem. My wife, 4 year old daughter, and I were severely bitten by fleas while staying in this motel. We ended up having to seek medical treatment for the amount of the bites that we incurred. Although the room appeared clean, it is infested with fleas. It is evident that the owners, permit pets in this motel which left their pests behind for others to be bitten. I would advise seeking another motel before staying at Days Inn, preferably one that does not allow pets carrying fleas.
