When we approached the place, there was a guy curled up sleeping on a coach in the lobby (8:30 pm). The place is so run down. We did not stay the night. The floors sag in the walkways. Our door only opened half way because the carpet was rotted...
50 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
We were driving the Blue Ridge Parkway and exited at Roanoke looking for a hotel. This was the first one we saw. This was our first and most likely last stay at a Days Inn.
This hotel is unsanitary. Aside from the smell of mold and urine, I awoke in the middle of the night only to squish a bed bug that proceeded to spill blood all over the already dirty sheets. My friend in the bed next to mine woke up in the morning ...

I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone. I have never stayed somewhere that dirty! The linens on the bed had cigarette burns and there were dirty washcloths in the shower. This place should be condemed. I really should have asked for a refund!!...
