It is a nice hotel with friendly service and staff.

30 year old female with a economy budget, traveling for business

While Rawlins is an all together unpleasant place, if you must spend time there, the Days Inn is comfortable. I'm in a business that requires me to spend six to nine months a year in hotels. In all of my travels, I have never seen a free breakfast that can rival the Rawlins Days Inn. The selection is good, the food is fairly good, and the woman who hosts the breakfast on weekdays is fantastic. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although noise from above and below is not well insulated. There is a clean, green courtyard that serves well for evening barbecues. The downside of this motel is the inconsistency of the front desk help. The morning staff is good and the evening is usually the same; however, if you have the misfortune of needing assistance mid-day to afternoon, you will most likely be met by one or another surly and incompetent young women. In addition, the promise of wireless internet access is completely false. I have been staying, for extended periods, at this establishment for three years and have never had acceptable internet access. If you get a room just above the front desk, you have a chance. Other than that, forget it. Upon repeated interactions with the staff on this subject, I have been continually told that the server is having trouble and they're getting it fixed. This is simply not true the signal is inadequate, or non-existent, and internet access should not be advertised at this location. This service is more than a luxury to business travelers, it is often a necessity. I have had to pay the front desk to print and fax documents for me on more than one occasion. This is a serious inconvenience and should be dealt with. On two different days, I had to call off days of work due to the fact that I could not receive maps that had been sent to me in electronic files. The one computer that is provided in the lobby is usually tied-up and often out of service. If there were more rooms available in Rawlins, I believe this problem would definitely drive customers away from the Days Inn. The fact that business travelers have their hands tied by over-crowding is no excuse for dishonest advertising and sub-par services.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: They remember my name from one stay to the next. Do Not Disturb signs are respected when no cleaning is necessary.

I am very likely to return to the Days Inn Rawlins.
I might recommend it to friends.

29 year old female with a economy budget, traveling for business

The hotel was clean and well kept. It was extremely difficult to get into a room that included a microwave and refrigerator; which is of utmost importance to business travelers who intend to stay for ten days at a time. In one of the rooms that I stayed, the air conditioner did not work. There were, almost without exception, problems in getting charges credited to the trip rewards program. There were some smoking and non-smoking rooms and I still suffer the stench of smoke and the allergies that smoke causes for me.

I am very likely to return to the Days Inn Rawlins.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
