Okay
WE just stayed 5 nights and had to move rooms 3 times because of the plumbing. Clogged sink, running toilet, clanking heater and bathroom vent. The staff did all they could to make our stay great but this hotel needs some love. Plenty of pillows...

I don't normally comment on other peoples reviews but I happened to be sitting in the lobby when the reviewer who is complaining about the smoking room situation checked in. The clerk that was on duty was trying really hard to explain to the "gentleman" that he's the one who booked the smoking rooms and the hotel was totally full and she didn't have any non smoking rooms to put him in PLUS it was like 10:30 at night and WAY past the cancellation deadline. He booked online at some website like hotwire or something and never made sure he had what he wanted (that's why I NEVER use those sites. I call the hotel direct because that way you get what you want.) I felt SO bad for the poor girl at the desk because this guy was so mean to her AND IT WAS HIS FAULT!! Don't listen to a word he writes... THIS HOTEL IS AWESOME!!

After booking online, I ended up with a smoking room. At the front desk, the clerk refused to attempt anything because it was an internet booking. 800-Days-Inn service and the internet service reps both agreed with me but left it to the discretion of the hotel to correct the issue. I simply wanted to be released from the obligation to get charged and let me go on down the road. She wouldn't budge. In emails to the manager later, I was accused of trying to scam the hotel and the original clerk lied to the manager and stated that I had been offered an out, but refused. Simply a lie. Stay away!

I recently booked a room here. I booked this reservation online trying to saving a couple of dollars then calling reservations hotline. It was an $8 savings.
I booked the motel at the Rapp Street location for $63 a night. It was a good deal intul I needed to cancel the reservation nearly a month in advance. I could not cancel the reservation due to being booked online.
The Days Inn is the only hotel chain on the internet that has the no refund or cancellation policy.
I was forced to be stuck with the $141 total charges. The hotel charged my card as soon as I booked on the web. I tried to call the help line, but no intelligent customer service rep could do any changes for me. What was fun is that the other Days Inn in town only 2 miles down the road was nearly $30 cheaper then this hotel with the same amenities.
For future guests of Days Inn I would strongly recommend finding a service friendly hotel that actually takes care of their customers. Next time I couldnt care less if Days Inn only charged $1 for a room, they will never get my business again.
