Days Inn Pottstown Motel - Page 1

The room was an upper level with king size bed. It had a faint scent of smoke at first.

There was dust on top of lamps and head board of the bed, also on top of the towel racks and clothes racks and someone had left behind a black top in one of the drawers.

The microwave had not been cleaned food baked to the top of it.

The pillow cases had stains on them.

Clearly the room attendant needs further training.

or maybe they were just too tired to put a clean roll of toilet paper on the spool.

Instead they left a roll containing 4 sheets balancing on the empty spool.

The bath floor was not pretty either but the shower pressure was great and hot. My advice always check out the conditions prior to paying for the room

I/we always stay at Days Inn's and have never had so much to complain about. but after driving 9 hrs I just wanted a hot shower and to stretch out

I could have folded my seats down and slept in the trunk of my car it would have been cleaner, but then I wouldn't have got a hot shower.

The location was convenient to the event I was attending. The price was good and the hotel was clean.

This hotel made me feel secure: The lock system and the fact that the entrance was in direct view of the hotel desk made me feel secure.

Whew weeee. The motel recently had flooding. It was evidenced in the smell of the first floor non-smoking rooms. The carpets have been partially cleaned, yet the stench still lingers in the room mingled with shampoo. The stench could be compared to the smell of an unattended litter box. The possibility of the stench improving is possible if further cleaning of the rooms is pursued. The stench from the smoking rooms above came through the vents in the restroom. Overall cleanliness is an issue as well. The phone was unable to dial out. It did not work even after calling the front desk several times to reprogram it. The shower pressure was decent and it did have an unsecured wireless connection.

The internet wi-fi connection was not working, and no one could assist me in getting it to work.

This hotel was not worth the money. It was located in a bad area and I did not really feel safe. The rooms were small and not all that clean. I would not stay there again.
