Days Inn Portland South Hotel - Page 1

This was my second time staying at this Day's Inn. The first time was in Nov 05, and didn't have any problems. Which is why I decided to stay here this time.

Although room was clean, breakfast was better this time, they added waffles.

What got me a bit upset were three girls that kept running around place, I got the feeling that their families were staying there long term. They were constantly on the computer in the lobby, playing games, made it hard for other customers to use the lobby computer.

The gym and jacuzzi area was clean, but kids were in there un supervised. There was a sign posted no one under 18 allowed unless with adult supervision. This was not the case. Three boys in the jacuzzi and sauna, making all sorts of noises. Or the three girls were in there. Finally able to use it after 10 PM, and it was nice and quiet.

I'm sure all of this was a one time thing, like I said, I stayed here before.

Yes, wil stay again, when in the area. Willing to give it another try, before I make a final decision.

We met several people who were classmates at Oregon State University during the early sixties for a mini reunion. We not all stayed overnight at the motel, but the motel staff was very gracious at allowing us to use their hospitality suite to continue socializing well into the dinner hour. We appreciated this.

It was very good and I would go back again!

It was nice and quiet.

The location was perfect because it is across the street from the hospital. Their free shuttle to the hospital did not help because it started running too late for us. I did appreciate the discounted rate and that I did not have to request it. They told me about the lower rate when I told them about my reason for being there.
