30 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
It must have been the hotel workers who said this place was awesome. It should really be no more than $20 a night. This used to be at least a comfortable hotel. I guess the current owners ran it into the ground. Use it for a place to lay your head, THAT'S ALL. Room smelled funny, floor was sticky. Beds looked like the comforter hadn't been washed. Looked like the ceiling had recently been leaking. I don't even have enough time to go on.

Love it!!!!!!!!. I think that the hotel staff is great and the managemaent has changed. The new management has really improved this motel by doing many renovations and hiring a friendly staff. I am looking forward to staying there again in the future.

60 year old male with a economy budget, traveling for leisure
Just Like Camping with all the Dirt/Bugs. Don't be deceived by the expensive rates [...], this is one rat hole that shouldn't even be in business. I'll sum up the reason they sell out and can charge so much: location. We only stayed because it was the last room available at any hotel in the area. DO NOT stay here; it's totally worth it to go up the road 30 miles. This place is out of the question; you'd have to see it to believe it. Here are the TOP FIVE PROBLEMS we enountered: 1. Cockroach in the sheets of one of the beds (We called the front desk to request they change the linens or bring us a cot. The manager did not apologize and said that if we wanted a cot, we'd have to come get it and that it would be an extra $10 charge! Then she said she couldn't get us a cot because it was somewhere in the back of a maintenance closet and that if we wanted new linens, we'd have to come get them. She finally put me on hold, then said her uncle could bring us linens, or we could check out. Too bad we had nowhere else to go because we were dying to get out of that room). 2. Black hair on the pillow of the other bed (we had to sleep with the scratchy room towels over our pillows because we weren't sure if the pillow cases were clean). 3. Debris and dirt all over carpet--definitely not vacuumed (we had to wear shoes at all times inside the room). 4. Hole in the window's screen surrounded by huge spiders and bugs (since we couldn't open the window for ventilation without letting more bugs in, we ended up with headaches from the lack of fresh air and heavy cigarette smell....(there were no nonsmoking rooms available). 5. We couldn't sleep in the morning because of all the flies in the room (one of us woke up to a fly on our nose, and several more flying around and landing on the beds.) There was dirt on the walls, cobwebs along the floor boards, the room's clock was set incorrectly--an hour off, no pen in the drawer--only a broken pencil., etc, etc. Basically, they do NOTHING to ensure a clean, comfortable stay because they know the location alone will always bring them business. It seems this place is a family-owned franchise so it does not meet corporate standards. They may as well have transplanted it here from a third world country--literally, even the water smells. We opted out of the free breakfast because their standards were so low, we were concerned about how the food is prepared. When we went out to eat in Chincoteague and told our waitress where we stayed, she covered her mouth and said, "Oh no! Tell me you didn't stay at the Pocomoke Days Inn!!" This place is infamous; don't be their next victim, unless you like being ripped off and sleeping with bugs and filth.
