I called around noon of arrival day to confirm reservation. It was confirmed. I called around midnight that same day to inform staff we were still on our way there and would be arriving within the hour. At that time I was told our reservation had been canceled. I didn't cancel the reservation and she said they did not cancel it. Supposedly, it was canceled at the main office. She did find me a room in another Days Inn in the area.

The hotel staff at Days Inn Bayside were extremely courteous.
This hotel made me feel pampered: Nice restaurant in the hotel, helpful hotel staff.
