It’s a convenient location to Universal Studios. It has a good price and good service.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Days Inn Orlando Maingate to Universal.
I might recommend it to friends.

The room had tiles falling out in the bathtub. The tile on the floor was old and full of caulk spots. There was no chair or table in the room, but they did finally bring one after two calls to the front desk in three hours.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Days Inn Orlando Maingate to Universal.
I would not recommend it to friends.

1. Staff: unfriendly, seemed to have better things to do than their job!

2. Expensive: with lots of little added costs that you have no choice to accept.

3. Room: Terrible, it stunk, Very dirty carpet with burn holes in it. The sheets looked unwashed with fresh juicy stains, 2 of the 4 lights did not work, hairs in the clean cups and hair and filth everywhere in the room.

4. Bathroom: It was nasty, the toilet was cracked and broken on the base, the floor was filthy dirty, the vent was half-hanging off of the wall (unscrewed)and looked like someone was using it for a "peephole" as you could see the bathroom on the other side, Black Mold in the shower, floor and ceiling,

The complementary soap and shampoo was half-used.

5. Room Security: The door lock was loose with missing screws and you had to shake the door to make it lock. I ended up wedging a chair against the door to make me feel a little safer.

I was woken up at 3 am by a loud banging at my door, I never went back to sleep, I got my family up and we checked out at dawn, thru the 1" slot outside the lobby.

I have been to many places But, This is the only place I have stayed at that I did not safe and worried about being secure in that room.

It’s a great location but only had two washcloths and two towels in the room.

This hotel made me feel welcome: They had a friendly front desk staff and personnel.

I am not likely to return to the Days Inn Orlando Maingate to Universal.
I would not recommend it to friends.

This is truly the worst hotel I have ever been in. They tried to charge me $40 more than my confirmed rate per night. The manager, although in the building, wouldn’t come and talk to me even though I was having problems.

I like the pool bar. The guy was fun although a little hot tempered one evening. All was good though, still had a good visit.

This hotel made me feel respected: The staffs were very nice and always helpful at the front desk.

I am very likely to return to the Days Inn Orlando Maingate to Universal.
I might recommend it to friends.

I disliked Days Inn Stockton's cheapness. The twist lamp bulbs didn't provide enough light to read by; the towels were very thin, not fluffy; the light over the vanity was out and the one at the desk had no replacement. The TV remote was bolted to the nightstand. You'd expect this in a cheap motel in a seedy part of town, not next to a major freeway (I-5).

I am not likely to return to the Days Inn Orlando Maingate to Universal.
I would not recommend it to friends.

Awful

They should rename the Days Inn Universal Studios to the Dives Inn. The room was disgusting, the light over the sink took 1 minutes to come on, the toilet seat was broken, there were ants in the room, the door latch was broken and you had to play with it to lock it. It was utterly disgusting. Why did we stay there? There was a convention in town and there were no other rooms. When I called in the morning, the desk clerk had the nerve to quote me a price of $15 a night. When I left the park and called again they said $9 a night. When I got there they told me AAA rates were $4-6 a night. I needed a handicapped room but they said none were available. After trying 1 hotels, we ended up staying at the Dives Inn. It is utterly the worst place I have ever stayed.

I am not likely to return to the Days Inn Orlando Maingate to Universal.
I would not recommend it to friends.
