Days Inn Oceanside Miami Beach Hotel - Page 2

I have been to many hotels in my lifetime on business and on pleasure, and this is the worst ever. It prompted me to write this review.

1) After prepaying and confirming. My room was not available when I arrived.

2) The keys assigned to the room did not work.

3) No manager was available throughout my stay.

4) Information given about a manager was incorrect.

5) I had to change rooms.

6) The elevators ran extremely slow. Even with two elevators and only ten floors.

7) The valet was tardy in retrieving my vehicle. Even with a two hour notice and $18.

8) I was charged for a safe that I did not use, nor requested.

The location was pretty good, it was right on the beach which was excellent. When we checked in we were charged costs that we were not warned about when we booked our room, an additional eight-teen dollars a day for valet. The desk girl calculated our stay wrong so when we checked out we were told that we still owed over a hundred dollars, this ruined our budget for our drive home. The cost should have been removed as customer service since it was her mistake, and when we checked in we asked specifically if our cost included everything and she said yes. While we were there their computers also charged a ton of miscellaneous charges to our account totaling about nine hundred dollars or more, which prevented us from being able to use our accounts.

It's not bad for the price and close to the beach.

Days Inn Oceanside was a nice hotel for the money.
