When I checked in the hotel looked seedier than the internet photo. There were a number of people hanging around outside. The first room had a running toilet and water in the bathroom, the next room had a connecting door with a broken handle (the large neighbor came into my room when I tried it!) A couple of guys banged on my door near midnight and the police were outside in the parking lot for awhile.
I was told there were additional fees (not shown on the internet booking) of $2.50 a day for safe which never worked and phone which I did not use. They assured me the charges for the safe would be removed as they had no one available to fix it. The next day I checked and again they said no charges. On checkout they told me I would have to pay, that I was charged because the safe was there, it didn’t matter that it didn’t work. I did not have much time to argue this and do not know if she charged it or not.
The front desk manager on check in was very nice and courteous and helped me to find a room that I felt safe in and ensure the keys worked. The breakfast was nice and the room I ended up in was fine with microwave, fridge, etc.
I just did not feel safe and had trouble sleeping, therefore was tired for work each day. On checkout there was a large knife lying behind my car.
The hotel was close to the airport, which I needed and the room was good value, but I would not stay there again as I never felt safe.
