The grounds were not too attractive upon arrival, but when I stepped inside the room I'd rather have stayed in the car! The bathroom obviously old, had rust, old tile, and a public looking toilet with a flush handle. Furniture and things were old but I thought we could give the hotel the benefit of the doubt and just ask to switch rooms. So, i pleasantly went to the reception desk and asked for, "...another night, 1 queen, non-smoking..." I found my way to the 2nd room, and i was again, disgusted, and pissed they had charged us $80! The bathroom was almost unbearable and the walls in the room itself were dirty! I was afraid to place anything on the floor or walk around without shoes. We put a towel in the shower to keep from touching the scum or whatever that was in the tub.The description on yahoo stated this hotel had been newly remodeled. Don't believe it! The only good thing was the location...oh and the Waffle House, on site.
