Days Inn North Airport St Louis Hotel - Page 1

I gave it a four only because it was cheap. Our room smells like smoke(non-smoking room) and the bathroom is in horrible condition. Also the clientele that choose this hotel are a bit shady.

It was okay for an unexpected stop due to airline problems, not for extended stay.

The accommodations were fine. The price was right. It was near the airport. Guests next door had an all-night party, but I did not contact the front desk.

The hotel was convenient to the airport and shuttle to Lambert, but it was noisy and less clean than it was on previous stays.

The location was convenient for meeting other associates flying into Lambert Field -- literally only about five minutes away. The hotel is conveniently located at the junction of major interstate highways, that gave us quick access to various quadrants of the St Louis area, facilitating our meetings with others. I was a little leery of the neighborhood (the employees at the McDonald's Restaurant across the road were less than impressive), but the parking lot was well lit, and everything worked fine. The 'full service' restaurant next door to the Days Inn also was a little disappointing -- the employees seemed lethargic, and had attitudes that did not seem to meet the normally friendly standards of the Midwest; however, the food was good.

This hotel made me feel pampered: The room was much larger than I expected -- it even had an 'extra area' with a table and chairs -- kind of a mini-suite. It was really neat and unexpected.
