32 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
Hotel is old. That is a fact. Everything is old; furniture, windows, carpets, bathroom, etc.
When I walked in, it reeked of mold. I thought it might be because of the indoor pool (not that I knew that they had one). Walking through the hallways, my daughter told me that it smelled like overbaked waffales with honey and dirt. :) (very specific). Second day she tells me that it smells like bleach mixed with dirt and soap. I didn't find any bed bugs (I checked - I stayed with children, I had to be safe). Service was ok, we didn't need much. They did let us into the room before check in time (that was nice of them). I think it's great that Denny's is right there in the building. Parking was available. If you are not expecting a lot, this is the place to stay, but I think that you could do better with your money. I know I'll do better homework next time.
