Lets start with the smell, loud halls, nasty bedding, rude staff, and let me not forget the cockroaches. I seen three, killed one and marched it down stairs. "So sorry" they said but what was I to do. Because I did NOT want to walk outside to get into my car.. CREEPY! So I head back up stairs and tried to sleep with the loud halls and the lights on not to be BUGGED again.

The location is extremely convenient for the Vanderbilt University and Hospital. The rooms are average and the public areas are not very presentable, especially the elevators which are both dirty and smelly.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Days Inn Nashville-Vanderbilt-Music Row.
I might recommend it to friends.

I won't write a very long review because I plan to write quite a few of these but here's the basics:
1) The rooms smell horrible! Very musty like an old abandoned building.
2) Dirty, sticky carpets.
3) Mold. I can't be absolutely sure but I believe it to be black mold. I have pictures to prove this! I just wish that I had found this on our first day instead of our last.
4) Unfriendly, rude staff.
5) Very narrow halls with huge open windows. It would be very easy for someone to fall out of them.

staff was rude, no ice, light outside room not working, room smelled like mold, had to walk to gas station to get ice, was approached by homeless persons wanting some change. carpet on the outside of hotel was gross. checked out a day early. worst place i've ever stayed.

We had to ask for a shower curtain. No matress pad on the bed. Lighting in bathroom was bad; we had to hit it to get the light to come on. Overall, the carpeting needed replacing.
This hotel needs a great deal of work my room was nasty. Many stains on the floor, dirty shower walls and toilet. Beds were all most like sleeping in a bowl. I do thank them of the med rate, but at any rate stay away from this one.

We were supposed to stay at this hotel for three nights. We checked in late on the first night and were amazed how bad this hotel was.
We had to force the door closed. After getting it shut, it had a gap of at least 2" under it. The room was dirty and the bathroom was so dirty and nasty, my wife refused to use it. The walls were paper thin; we thought someone in an adjacent room was going to come thru it.
We spoke to the staff the next morning when we left and they did not seem to be concerned.
This was definitely the nastiest hotel I have ever been in. I will never stay in a Day's Inn again.
