Days Inn Myrtle Beach Hotel - Page 1

My boyfriend and I stayed there this past Aug. of 08 ... This hotel isn't the best of all hotels but it's not as bad as what the other people said ... The prices are descent ... You get what you pay for ... The last day the maids didn't come in but other then that we thought it was a good hotel.

My husband, 2 kids, brother & sister-in-law and thier son almost stayed at this hotel in July of 2007. It is FILTHY DIRTY!!! I had to clean hair out of the tub just to take a shower after we got back from the beach. There was a huge crack from the floor to the door about 2 inches, bugs could have come in. The ceiling was caving in, half the air conditioning in the rooms don't work. When you complain about the air not working, the desk clerk gives you a 5 bladed fan that is missing 3 blades and jumps on the floor when plugged in. This hotel is a FILTHY, DISGUISTING DUMP!!! We complained to the mgr and got our money back after I told him how dirty it was and he lost 3 customers that were in line behind us. If your a dirty person, then this is the hotel for you. If your not, then DO NOT STAY HERE!!! You couldn't pay me to stay there, I was so scared to even sit on the bed!!!

My wife and I have stayed in several Days Inns in the past couple of years and this has to be by far the worst. It has a beautiful location and view, but the facility should be removed and replaced. Almost everything in the place was worn, and kind of shabby. A strong storm came in on 6/2/07 and the carpet was wet almost 2 feet inside the sliding glass door.

It was not a good stay and the cost was approx the same as nearby superior properties. We just did not know that and couldn't figure out how to keep from losing our $00.00 or we would have not stayed there.

This place was a dump! I could not believe it was a Days Inn. We booked 5 couples there last Aug. 2006 for a golf tournament.

We were on the ground level and the day we arrived it was raining, I had to put towels down at the door to soak up the water coming in. The sofa was nasty, I had to put a sheet over it so we could sit on it, the dresser drawers were broken, and there was food splattered on the walls.

We reported our discontent to the manager and he sent housekeeping back to clean again, but it was still awful. Our feet stuck to the carpet, so I wore my flip flops, and the drains stayed stopped up the whole trip. I spent the first day cleaning.

I'll never stay at another Days Inn.

This hotel was noisy and had extremely uncomfortable beds.
