We have stayed here twice and are ready for our third time. Even though it has been only one night each time, we found the rooms clean, great pillows, comfortable beds. The room had a nice fresh smell. Overall this is a nice motel. The rates are...
WE BOOKED OUR ROOM WITH OUR CORPORATE LODGING CARD. WHEN WE ARRIVED THE HOTEL DECIDED THEY COULD MAKE MORE MONEY OFF OF SOMEONE ELSE INSTEAD OF HONORING HIS CONTRACT WITH COPORATE LODGING. WE ENDED UP CANCELLING AND NOT STAYING THERE AFTER AN...
makes a fairly good impression from the road. Then the unfriendly service in the office was followed by a closer look at the facility. Yuck. Our room had stained carpets. The front door barely closed and the bathroom door did not. The bathtub looked dirty or stained, the faucets look nasty and the tub still had water stains. This place needs renovation. The area made us a bit insecure, with less than reputable-looking people lurking around buildings.
I just checked out today and will not be going back. I had booked this room and prepayed online or I would have checked out early. We checked in Thursday afternoon the tub/shower had mildew around the caulking and the bottom of it needed Tilex or a...

This place was a total rip-off. I made online reservations almost a month in advance.
After two days there, there was a family emergency which necessitated my return home, and I was charged the entire amount for my stay! No credit, no nothing.
On top of that when I called their customer service corporate office, I was told that this was routine procedure for their company! There was no maid service for our room before at least 5 p.m. and only after we went to the laundry room ourselves and had gotten our own towels and tracked down the maid and asked for coffee, cups, etc. The room was not cleaned or vacuumed during our stay there.

The desk clerk was extremely pleasant and helpful. The location was easily accessible. It was in a very nice area and close to attractions. The room was very large with a microwave and refrigerator available.
I am very likely
to return to the Days Inn Mount Pleasant-Charleston-Patriots Point.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
