Days Inn Monteagle Motel - Page 1

Terrible overnight stay ay Days Inn. I will never stay in this hotel again! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The bathroom was filthy. The shower and tub had obviously never been scrubbed, they were streaked with soap and scum. I requested a 4:15 a.m. wake up call. At 5:15 a.m. my business associate called my cell phone to wake me. We were supposed to be on the road at 5:00 a.m. This was when I discovered that the phone in the room wasn't even connected. No dial tone and the end of the cord was nothing but bare wires. The receptionist insisted that I was wrong. When I left at 5:20 a.m. the lobby was locked and I couldn't return the room key or get my receipt. The place is one of the nastiest hotels I've ever seen, I'll never stay at another Days Inn, I can't believe they let their name be associated with such filth.

I personally would not go to another. I called their home office to complain. I was told that it was an independent operator and said they had nothing to do with it. If they don’t care, why should ever stay there again?

This hotel made me feel extravagent: I paid too much for what we got. I will not stay there again even if they paid me.
