This Hotel is okay if you just need a place to lay your head down for a few hours. I wouldn't recomend this location as vacation destination lodging. The staff were friendly, however the room my fiance and I where given looked a bit dingy and not Th

Horrible
40 year old female with a luxury budget

I live in the neighborhood and unfortunately due to a mess up with a closing on our house, our real estate agent put us up in this place as we technically had no where to stay.

I was appalled and it was god awful!!! We questioned whether the bedding was clean and had serious concerns about bugs. Our door from the outside and inside had clearly been kicked in at one point. We ended up "maintaining" the reservation, but never actually stayed there. We stayed with a relative.

To be honest, this place is shady and uncared for. It also borders a block north of a bad area.

I would not recommend this place to anyone and if I were traveling and ended up in a place like this - I'd check out faster than I checked in. Anything else on Mannheim Road with an address starting with 2800 and up is good though.

Horrible
38 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business

I can not believe that Days Inn doesn't condem the place to protect their name. Rooms looked to be in the condition of an abandoned home, nothing was safe and when I told the front desk that there were problems, she asked if I would like to check out.

The breakfast did include waffles....the frozen kind out of a box that after they were thawed and sitting out for 3 hours they put back into the box and into the freezer.

My safe was not even bolted to anything, just laying on the floor. My shower had no pressure if hot water, only cold. I had a business associate staying there as well and I had to kick the door multiple times in order for the regular door latch to release in order for her to get out of her room. She called the front desk but after 10 minutes they still had not come to her room so she called me.

Outside doors were proped open with a rock, every time I moved the rock so the door shut someone would put it back. I then found out later when I moved the rock that the doors don't lock anyway.

When complaining about my room the front desk gal walked away from me while I was talking to answer the phone, she then quoted that person a rate that was $30 less than what I had paid for my room, when I asked she said he would knock off $10 from my room.

What a dump!

This place was awful! The smell alone was enough to run. The cleanliness was absent in all aspects. The staff were rude. The continental breakfast included juice and dognuts. I slept on towels with both doors locked and a chair in front of it. Never ...

The hotel is very old. The furniture is in terrible shape. The mattress was a $99 special. Our non-smoking room had a door to an adjoing smoking room. The smoke came right through.

We paid less for 2 nights at this hotel than we did for one night at a 4 star hotel in central Chicago. First, the neighborhood is terrible and definitely not safe. Second, the rooms need renovating. All of the furnishings were well worn, but still...
