OUr first room was dirty all over. I think the only thing that was clean was the bed linens. We asked for a different room and was accomocated, except there was no mini-fridge. This room was OK clean in the main traffic areas but had not been swept...
I called ahead of time. I asked about the pool, playground & game room. They made it sound like everything we were looking for & a great price. The playground is a slide. They lied & said the pool was open. A man from the area told us it had been...

The price compared to other hotels says it all. They should remove the name "Kings Island" from their prefix, because they are using the name to make themselves appear great. It is terribly run down, all around things are broken and not...

We tried Great Wolf Lodge last fall and it was awesome, but very expensive. We decided to try and save some money this trip, so we booked the Days Inn Kings Island. It was filthy, and one of the beds was broken down on one corner. The shower had...

This hotel was dirty! There was mold in the bathtub and all over thoe shower curtain. The tub was not cleaned because it still had hair in the drain from the last person in the room. The refridgerator stank and we couldn't use it. The coffee pot was broken, but the worst part of all was the false advertising of free wireless internet and continental breakfast. The "wireless internet" was only available outside by the pool because they were using another nearby hotels server! The continential breakfast was a joke; the juice machine was broken, they were out of coffee and an hour into the breakfast advertised time, there was only cereal left. Upon checkout, I told the manager/owner about our terrible stay and I asked for a refund only to be talked to in a condesending and rude manner. The owner refused even a discounted price and I told him he was being unreasonable and was acting like an ass. He called me a "FAT BITCH"!! TRUE STORY!! THE TALK WE HAD WITH THE LOCAL POLICE CONFIRMED THAT THEY ALWAYS HAVE TROUBLE WITH HIM AND ALWAYS HAVE COMPLAINTS FROM VISITORS STAYING THERE. This man preys and robs families of their hard earned money with his dirty and falsely advertised hotel. Also according to the officer I spoke with he gets 1st timers that stay while visiting Kings Island or Cincinnatti and he doesn't care if you return or not because he always has a fresh batch of unsuspecting families! Save yourself some heartache and stay clear of this hotel!
