25 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
This is the worst experience I ever had in my life. I never knew that any manager would treat his customer in this way. Stay away from this place and save yourself.
I, a 25 year old Asian guy, went to King City, CA for a weekend to golf and booked a room for 2 nights in Days Inn. I specifically requested a room with Internet connection but there was no wireless internet in the whole hotel (in contrast what is in their website and what they told me when I called up the hotel the previous day).
I called up their 800 number and their customer service number, but I got no help. Finally after two unsuccessful calls, a customer service rep (after talking to the manager) told me that I had to pay for one night and my money for the second night would be refunded if I wish to go and stay in some other hotel. Since that was the only option I had, I agreed. The next morning, I went to the front desk to check out and get my refund for the second day. To my shock, I was charged for an additional $75.
The manager (who was angry at me for complaining to CSR the previous night) gave me a mouthful even calling me "the worst F***er he has ever seen", cursed and swore at me and told me that he would refund my money and said Go do whatever you can, I dont care a damn. How dare you complain about my hotel for something as small as Internet, I will not return a single penny. Get out of my property you M***** F***er.
