After another hotel lost my reservation, I found this Days Inn down the street. While I expected a very moderate stay due to it being an "economy" hotel chain (Days Inn), I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel's amenities.

We got into the room and our one light didn't even work. We had no smoke detector, the wires were just hanging out of the wall. Oh wait we did find one... in the drawer with no battery and the number on it didn't even match our room number. The walls were filthy. The carpet looked like it had not been cleaned in years. The mattress's were stained all over. The bathroom walls looked like someone did not know how to use the toilet, and the stains were not even next to the toilet, they were on the opposite wall. The free internet did not work. There was no welcome or anything in the room. There was nothing on how to work the phone to call out.
Overall it was disgusting. I did not even want to sleep in the sheets because the towels had stains on them. I thought they bleached everything?!
