This hotel is kind of old but is in a perfect location to all the amenities that Charleston has to offer. The City Market, which is where everything is, is actoss the street, If you are looking for a luxury hotel, this isn't it but if you want location and free parking his is the place.

25 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

It was a great location, within walking distance to retail and good restaurants. It had a small parking lot. I liked the clean room with good service from the staff. The only surprise was the price, but I supposed it was for the location. It was not bad, but I prefer more luxurious accommodations. At the price, I might as well have sprung for a nicer hotel for not too much more.

This hotel made me feel respected: The person at the desk very friendly and helpful about where to shop and eat.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Days Inn Historic District.
I might recommend it to friends.

member icon Dirty and stinky rooms

Let me begin by saying that the location was good, but the room conditions was very dirty and stunk. The rooms were congested and the carpets were filthy, you might want to think twice before putting your bare feet down. the bathrooms were dirty as well. It is not worth the money at all. we paid 250+ for two nights and i regret staying there. The place was old and not maintained well. You are better off paying a few more dollars and find another place.

They really need to upgrade the place, while they are charging a lot for that condition rooms.

The location is terrific. The bedding was a king bed and very comfortable. The only negative was the lighting over the bathroom sink. It was hard to put on make up.

I am very likely to return to the Days Inn Historic District.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
