This is a good motel, a couple steps above motel six. We don't expect fancy, this is a good value for the money.
The staff is pleasant, room pick up starts early but will wait if you hang the "do not disturb" sign on the door.
Decor is fine, carpets and walls show a little wear but are not the disaster that a previous reviewer described. No insects or rodents seen.
The breakfast is basic: cold cereal, pastry, apples /bannanas and coffee/tea. The lobby is small with a couple tables, so you just might need to chat with other morning guests (grin)
In the small lobby is a guest computer with internet access, wireless internet in out room worked fine.
In our room the cable TV worked fine, and my wife was happy to use the refrigerator and microwave. The my wife enjoyed soaking in the bathtub (something you can't do at motel six) and there's enough space on the vanity counter top to spread out your beauty / shaving kit.
There's enough furniture in our room to look and feel homey, if your into styling the furniture is from the 90's.
I haven't tried the swimming pool so far, looks like it would help cool kids off. Might need to ask for a couple towels from the lobby.
There are a couple restaurants (Sonic Burger drive in, and Huddle House) next to the motel, and I can see wall-mart about half a mile away so if you need something you don't have to go far.
It's right off the Interstate, but in our end room with the door closed I don't hear any traffic noise - so it's quiet enough to sleep well.
We'd stay here again.
