Will not stay here again! – Posted Jun 25, 2008

Horrible

I stayed here one night for a business trip and will not return to this motel.

The room smelled. The bed was uncomfortable.

In an effort to conserve energy (I guess), everything in the room that could have been unplugged ...

Good

Stayed the weekend for my sons graduation and it was the closest to the university for the best price. The room was clean and well kept. The room was noisy however because it is located on a very busy street. The staff was very nice and I had no...

Mediocre

pros: PriceThis place is an older motel. The rooms are small and not well kept. It is definately noisy from the road outside your room door. There are plenty of other options in the area that are better choices.

Horrible
35 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

it said on the website that it has a work out facility and laundry. they do not.

the rug in my room stank of smelly feet and my feet became dirty just walking around it a few times. like the other says it does smell like curry but worse my room just stunkystank and it got onmy clothing as well. the bed spread HAS to be washed more often and the rugs as well. the wife of the owner she does have a reputation as being rude yet he son and the father are fine. it just simply not worth the price.

It was smelly – Posted Apr 30, 2007

Mediocre
27 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

The room was very clean, however the curry and incense smell infiltrated the entire hotel. I opened all the windows but it is, to say the east, an overpowering smell.

The rooms were very spacious and the wireless internet was a perk. I was not impressed with its service. Especially if you have children, pay a little more and stay at the Holiday Inn in North Haven. It’s much cleaner, professional, and doesn't smell.

The bed was extremely comfortable with lots of large pillows.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Days Inn Hamden.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Okay

The room smelt like curry. It was reasonably priced though and conveniently located next to the Quinnipiac University campus. It also had wireless internet connection.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Days Inn Hamden.
I might recommend it to friends.
