Horrible
This hotel was a normal hotel...it was ok. Until the week we got home, and I found on my checking account that they charged me for the room and 4 days later charged me 133.00 for missing pillows and pillow cases which were in the room when we left. ...

I have stayed in hotels all over the world - even in 3rd world countries - and this hotel is by far the worst I have ever stayed in. When we arrived, febreeze was on the table, the trash cans were in the middle of the room, the phone & light...
The Comfort Inn Gulf Shores was an absolute misarable stay. The room smelled horrific. Something weird went on in that room. When I decided to talk to the front desk she asked what room number I was in and I told her she said, oh...that was the room....
44 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
Normally Comfort Inns are clean and comfortable, not this one. Very dirty and rather dangerous since the smoke alarm in the room was disconnected and when you called the front desk it showed you were calling from a different room. No offer to remedy the problem so I simply checked out after about 15 minutes in the room. Lamps tore up, peeling paint in the bathroom, along with a couple of hairs in the tub that were not from me. YUCK!
