Cheeseheads rule in these parts. This Days Inn in downtown Green Bay, Wis., stands only four miles from the famous Lambeau Field, home to the NFL's Green Bay Packers and its legions of rabid fans known as the Cheeseheads. Yes, Virginia, these people wear Styrofoam wedges of cheese on their heads at all football games. Other travelers looking for some gaming excitement are eight miles from the Oneida Bingo and Casino, which is reachable by the hotel's complimentary shuttle. Being so close to the stadium, the Days Inn also stands near a myriad of bars and restaurants, even one named after Brett Favre, the Packers quarterback, that serve the football faithful and folks who don't know a touchdown from a first down. The Days Inn's meeting and banquet rooms are perfect for family get togethers and other events. The five story, 98 room hotel features copy, fax and data ports for convenience of business travelers; room service; and an indoor pool. Parents and kids, sports fans, business travelers and other leisure types coming here either to see the Pack, attend corporate meetings or just to get away will score with the Days Inn at prices that won't throw folks for a loss.

Horrible
Convenient location. The room smelled musty; carpet in elevator was gross. For a hotel that stated it was renovated in 2005, this was the worst Days Inn, I have ever stayed in. The room smelled musty but it appeared clean on the surface. We ended up...

Excellent
Fast check in check out and a great Downtown location.Smallish parking lot. In the morning my trucks battery was dead, the guy behind the counter found me jumper cables at the hotel and drove his personal van around for the jump. He was a class act...

Mediocre
Good location.Room was not the best, shape sheets fell off the bed. Not really clean really dumpy. Really more like a 1 star hotel to but it best dumpy.
33 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
My reservations that were prepaid were not in there computer and the inexperienced desk clerk was there alone and it took about an hour to get a hold of help so I could get my flipping room. It was a royal pain and I looked like a fool standing there with my bags.
I am not likely
to return to the Days Inn Green Bay Downtown.
I would not recommend it to friends.

Horrible
Nothing. It was very dirty; my wife sleeps in the car. We were stuck with this discussing hotel. I slept in the room because we spent money on the room and my wife slept in the car, it was very dirty.
Check in staff was rude. Room was tiny.

Mediocre
Check in staff was rude. Room was tiny. Bathtub, if you can call it that, was half-size. No continental breakfast, lots of construction, musty smelling, and overall just not worth it. I would advise staying at the hotel across or down the street...

Good
Good location, the staff was friendly and able to answer my questions.I did not see a sprinkler system. Convenient, clean and a central location makes this hotel a good.
