Due to severe damage occuring during unusually high winds, this hotel is no longer open. It's been sitting half gutted with walls torn out and debris everywhere in the parking lot for almost a year now.

GOLDSBORO, N.C. -- Two hotels were damaged in Goldsboro during a severe thunderstorm this evening.

The damage appears to have been caused by heavy winds that accompanies a storm that moved thorough the area around 7 p.m.

Four people were reported to have been injured at The Days Inn, where much of the damage occured."

There are very few hotels in this area. This hotel was located near many restaurants and stores off of the interstate. I was able to take care of everything I needed.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Days Inn Goldsboro.
I might recommend it to friends.

The hotel was easy to find and there was plenty of parking. But the rooms were very dim and not as clean as I would normally expect.

I am not likely to return to the Days Inn Goldsboro.
I would not recommend it to friends.
