Our 2-bed room was very roomy and nice and clean. There were trains close by but we left the bathroom fan running overnight and they didn't bother us. The breakfast was adequate, but not great. The waffles weren't good (batter was too thin and the...
The rooms were clean and spacious. Bathroom was recently remodeled. There was a railway track behind the hotel, but we did not hear any noise in the room. We were pleased with the room and the service.

If you walk in at the end of the day you might find yourself over paying more than 250%! And that is definitely not worth the money. However, this would probably not happen if you make reservations the day before.
The included breakfast is not recommended and the bathroom was a bit dirty, but if you just want to sleep it is okay.

The breakfast person was slow at putting things out, used cloths to wipe dirty areas and tables without getting a new one, touched food after touching trash, and took food off of table that someone left for trash that they had not ate and put it...

Horrible
I booked a room through HotWire for the Days Inn on Route 66 over the Memorial Day weekend. Granted, I was scraping from the bottom of the barrel in trying to get a good deal. Our rate was $85.00 a day. I had used HotWire in the past, and was...

We got a great with Hotwire - until we realized that the room is a smoker room. We asked if they could give us a non-smoking room - since we had an infant and a 4 year old - but they didn't care. "You booked it through Hotwire and they don't guarantee a non-smoking room, you can upgrade to a non-smoking room for $120, or you can go somewhere else...". The manager was this young punk, arrogant, very unprofessional and didn't care about us being upset. All his other staff members were listening, starring and smiling. We left furious and went next door to the Super 8, with a great room and a friendly receptionist. Oh, and by the way, another couple who had the same experience left the hotel too.
