The billboard on the Interstate said rooms were $59 but when checking in, they were $79 because... only advance reservations get the $59 rate and reservations must be 4 hours old. So what use is the Interstate billboard? Past experiences have neve

I am not likely to return to the Days Inn Everett and I would not recommend it to friends.
It was too pricey ($59) for room condition: it's a motel and the equipment inside is antique (20 years old TV without remote and an old and dusty air conditioned unit).
Otherwise the clerk was friendly and the room clean.

The Days Inn Everett is by far the most disgusting place I have ever had the misfortune to book a room in. Upon arrival, the room was filthy. The beds were not made. There were dirty wet towels on the bed, used condoms on the floor, and soda cans all over the place.
We switched to another room that was just as bad...no mirror on the wall, just where it had been pulled off, a broken towel rack in the bathroom, broken fridge. The water from the sink ran right through to the bucket under the pipe. The nicotine was so thick on the walls and ceiling, you could not believe it. The heater smelled like urine. The only thing that can make this place better is a wrecking ball.
I demanded my money back and cancelled the remaining 3 nights of my reservation. Of course I did end up being charged over $75 in cancellation fees from Orbitz, another company I will never go to again.
I travel frequently. I would rather sleep on a heat grate in the middle of the sidewalk than ever book a room at a Days Inn. I will also share my experience with all my customers and associates.
