Non safe place to stay. My credit card was stolen by the hotel staff during the check in process. I can tell you how its work. They ask you to give them a credit card for the guaranty and if you are distracted or tired they "forget" to give it back. It happenned to me and the next day the same thing to another person.

My laptop was stolen out of my room while I was staying here. It was taken while I was gone, and there was no sign of forced entry, which means that either the maid stole it or she left the door open while she was cleaning so someone else could. Management was unsympathetic and even rude when I reported the theft, essentially telling me there was no physical way the laptop could've been stolen. I believe Days Inn violated its liability agreement by not providing a safe to put valuables in, and by letting the maid leave the door open while she was cleaning!!! DO NOT STAY AT THE DAYS INN!!! When I told the cop filing my police report that the manager claimed this had never happened at this hotel before he started laughing!

After throwing room keys at a more disgusting hotel we found days inn and it was a relief. VERY clean and a pleasant smell. Right by the riverwalk. Of course you have a little bit of a walk to get there but it is refreshing. I would definately recommend for anyone with a somewhat tight budget. We had an EXCELLENT time!!

I love the location. You walk outside your room and you’re practically in the Alamo courtyard, and did I mention for pennies compared to some of the other hotels on the river walk. It may not be as fancy but it serves its purpose, besides you go to San Antonio to sight see not to spend your time at the hotel.

This hotel made me feel welcome: There was no pressure what so ever at time of check out. They had a very courteous housekeeping staff. I can't remember a single incident where I felt the need to leave.

This hotel states that it is the Downtown Riverwalk. It is a 10 minute drive through downtown to the riverwalk. They state they are 1.5 miles from the riverwalk. This MAY BE....however, how can one say they are a "riverwalk" hotel when it isn't on the riverwalk. The neighborhood was scary and awful. If you wanted to walk to the riverwalk, you couldn't because you would probably get mugged or worse. The manager was rude and hung up on me when I complained. Days Inn Corporate helped a little bit but only a 25% refund was given.
