Wyndham Hotel Group
35 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
We picked this hotel because it boasted of a short walk to the LP field and downtown Nashville. It was actually next to a truck stop and a very shady area. You can walk to downtown, but after my first walk I was very uncomfortable and many locals advised against it as well. Cab fares were cheap enough, so it was ok. The room was dirty and old. The bathroom had mold in the tiles and the wall paper was peeling off the walls. Stingy on the towels. However, the staff was delightful. Helpful desk staff and smiling cleaning staff (even if they don't' clean well). Hotel Bar attracts scary locals, so it can be a fun place to check out, but be careful of that. Pool looked well kept.
