Check-in was fine. We had 2 rooms; requested non-smoking & they said that's what we were getting. One of the two rooms smelled terribly of smoke. The other room was fine.
Air conditioning units timed out constantly even though it was only May. Sure wouldn't want to stay there in July!
House cleaning ignored our room, even though we were gone from 8:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. Then it was too late. When I called the front desk, they were disinterested. Didn't even volunteer to bring clean towels or anything!
While we were there (call it just a coincidence?), there was an attempted fraud on our credit card. Someone called the room with a detailed, elaborate story of the hotel having computer problems, not being able to properly process our card, "got called in at 4 a.m. and I've been working on the computer problems all day, but it looks like I'm going to need you to give me your credit card number again." When we checked with the front desk in person, they knew nothing about it and were completely disinterested that we'd received this kind of call.
