Days Inn Daytona Beach Hotel - Page 2

Days Inn Daytona was just not as expected for the area -- not as neat as possible and inviting.

This hotel was called Days Inn by the Beach in Daytona Beach right next to the sand. The other Days Inn, inland, looked very nice. But the one we stayed in had its problems. There were bedbugs and the maids didn't change the linen for three days. And only then after my wife called the main desk and made them change the sheets. The other bed we didn't sleep on smelled bad. The tub drain was clogged. It had thin walls and bad TV. Just overall, it was a very nasty Days Inn.

This hotel made me feel welcome: The staff was very courteous to me and my family members (a party of 10 persons) when we arrived, as well as during our stay there. On top of that, they managed to obtain adjoining rooms for all of us so that we wouldn't become separated during our stay.

When we arrived at Days Inn on the Beach, as it is known, we were told our room would not be ready for another two hours. The option was, we could take a room with a kitchen immediately. We were charged $30 more than originally quoted.

This hotel made me feel welcome: Their desk manager was extremely nice and very friendly. He wasn't pushy or overbearing. He answered all the questions asked of him.

Some parts need a little more cleaning.

There were roaches in the outside perimeter rooms. I was on the inside near the pool.
