Days Inn Crossville Motel - Page 1

Stay elsewhere!. I reserved a room at this hotel 6 mo. prior to the Corridor 127 Sale (which we had planned to attend)as it was the only place left with rooms available. When we checked in, we found out they had canceled the room because the date on my card had expired. They never contacted us to get the updated card info and gave away our nonsmoking room. The room we eventually got was awful: peeling paint in the miniscule and not very clean bath, stained and dirty looking carpeting, thin towels and was a smelly smoking room. Would have gone elsewhere IF all other hotels had not been full and we weren't so desperate. After our nightmare experience of check-in problems at this location, combined with the awful room, and a previous bad experience at another Days Inn (another long story) we will never stay at another Days Inn ever again, even if desperate. This hotel needs heavy duty renovations and some serious staff re-training in how to keep the place clean, inviting and maintained. Hilton Hotels, here I come!

It was an average place to stay. It was not bad, but not great either.
