I thought the man at the front desk was very friendly and kind. I wished the back door into the rooms had been locked, however.

This hotel made me feel practical: We were able to find a discounted price and, based on the location, it felt like a good, practical price for what we got.

As soon as we walked in, we were knocked backward with the smell of smoke. It was suppose to be a non-smoking room. It also smelled of urine and mold. We called the front desk and they offered to put a machine in our room for an hour to take out the smoke but we would have to leave in order for them to do that. That wouldn't take care of the urine or mold smell. My grandson which has Cystic Fibrosis, he also has allergy problems as do I. We were only in the room for 2 hours and we were both sick before we left. The carpet in the room was sticky and unclean.

I'm glad we get a chance to comment. We have stayed at several Days Inn & have found them to be basic & serve the main purpose of a clean room to sleep in. This particular Days Inn, however, has left a lasting impression. We went to a family member's graduation & left with what appears to be bed bug bites all over myself, my husband, my mom & my Grandma. I understand bed bug have become a problem again in the U.S. This is a problem for future patrons & needs to be addressed immediately.

We were staying here for one night on a family vacation. We booked two non-smoking rooms and upon arriving, our room smelled heavily of smoke. We called and complained and they said all the non-smoking rooms were sold out, which was hard to believe because the parking lot was far from full. The manager came and sprayed some horrible smelling coverup spray, which did nothing but made us choke. Also, we had pre-ordered online two non-smoking rooms, so this really ticked us off that we had to have a smoking room when we paid for non-smoking.

There were cigarette burns on the one of our comforters and a huge pee stain on another one. The pillows were stained, crummy, hard, and thin. The beds were hard as a rock and super thin and hurt our backs and hips in the morning.

Upon our request, they refused to give us extra towels, saying that we had plenty. And there was a hair on a towel, which disgusted us. And the complimentary shampoo stinks.

The breakfast was measley and pathetic. The orange juice and milk tasted watered down. Very watery.

So, we highly recommend that you do NOT stay here, that you spend a few extra bucks and get a nicer place, even if you are on a budget. It is NOT worth it.

I stayed at this hotel on my way back to GA. The people were very friendly. It seemed like they knew many of the customers by name. The price was good, the rooms were clean, and their breakfast was good. It looked like they were doing some major renovations.
