It is close to the interstate and near some great restaurants off of exits going East on I-64, exit 12, etc. Anyway, for the price of $35 it was okay for the short stay. However, I will take a hard look at the brand new Motel 6 across the street and pay the extra $5 or so for a room with a cleaner appearance and not get a breakfast in the morning. Although this hotel did serve these great little mini cini-rolls that were great with coffee, that was cool. The cleanliness was fine, but does not give a clean appearance in the room and near the side entrances. The booking said I was going to stay in a renovated room, but did not get that at all. Played like hell to get room service, had to ask the clerk three times to get housekeeping to clean the room.

Bad experience. We had a bad exp at this location. The night desk clerk was rude and tried to rip us off, telling us we needed to pay nearly 22 dollars more for our rooms than quoted. I explained to him that I would book online instead and had to book on my laptop while he talked to his friend on the phone. We then waited over 20 min after I gave him our confirmation number for him to verify our confirmation. He also ignored me several times when I approached the desk because he was on the phone with a friend. The next mornin we went to the lobby to get breakfast and the juice dispenser dispensed HOT (not warm) juice. The woman at the front desk apoligized for her coworkers behavior and was vry nice to us, but at that point we had decieded not to come back to this Days Inn Location again. The last time I stayed at this hotel was 6 weeks before. I also had reserved my rooms online then and the owner claimed we had reserved 5 rooms instead of 2, even after I called before arrival and explained again that we only needed two rooms. There were no toiletries in my room that time and the front desk personwas rude then as well, stating that we were lucky they werent that booked up otherwise we would have to pay for the 5 rooms. The woman the next morning at the desk was nice and apoligized for the problems we had. I will not stay at this location again. I come into the St. Louis area every 4-6 weeks with 2-6 other persons and we will not be booking at this establishment. I am very dissapointed with this location.
I am not likely
to return to the Days Inn Caseyville.
I would not recommend it to friends.
