We booked this hotel because it was listed as having 4 stars on the SideStep site. NO WAY! This was a sad 2 star venue. Water pipes exposed. Fraying carpet. Sagging doors. Cigarette burns on the blanketing. Noisey. I would give them credit for being clean. We overpaid for what was at best mediocre accomodations. I don't know who decides on the number of stars for SideStep. But they are to be blamed for our unmet expectations.
I recently stayed at the Days Inn on a trip to Minnesota. The hotel was very nice especially for anyone on a fair budget. The rooms were average but were exceptionally clean. I was very much impressed with the housekeeping.
