The customer service here is very bad! The two ladies that work the front desk are very mouthy and treated us horribly. When we arrived in Baton Rouge we had a reservation at Motel 6 - which is right next door to Days Inn. We noticed that the Days I
I recently stayed at Days Inn, and the hotel was okay, and the staff was great, to my suprise. It wasn't exactly what I expected but the overall stay was okay. There were no towels in the room but that wasn't a major complaint because I brought my ow
This hotel was the worst ever. Do not waste your money. The carpet and furniture was filthy. They have charged my credit for two nights and I only stayed one night. I called the front desk several times regarding the charges and have gotten the...
This was the nastiest place I've ever stayed in! The carpet was sticky, my socks were black after about 20 minutes of walking in the room, The sink still had toothpaste from previous occupants, the air conditioner was nasty, sticky soft drink...
Well, I stayed at this place about 3 times. My first visit, I made a reservation with one of their desk clerks. When I got there, there was no room available so I had to sit and wait. The room that I got that time was a nice one, It was clean, and...
The hotel was dirty! The employees were rude and not helpful at all! The breakfast was awful, no milk out, juice was disgusting! There were people running up and down the walkway outside of our room making lots of noise and we only got a couple...

I thought I had booked a nice but not great room. I didn't expect the Ritz but certainly anticipated a clean, smoke free room. It turned out to be a hotel being used by the blue collar tradesmen from all over the US in Louisiana to reconstruct New Orleans. Transient workers renting the rooms by the week. The first clue was the sign at the entrance advertising weekly rates. The room was dirty , with multiple cigarette burns in the blankets, sheets and bed spread. The commode didn't work , and we had ash trays all over the room and it reaked of smoke. I had to buy a portable air freshener - I would have changed rooms but there were no ground floor rooms left. In the middle of the night the phone rang 3 times - I guess the past occupant had been there for awhile. People were knocking on the door at night also. We were 2 women alone in for a nursing certification class and frankly a little frightened. The next night when we returned we discovered that the room had not been vaccumed or mopped( trash under commode still there), and we had no potty paper! But the worst was that the next morning at 6am as we attempted to leave for our class and an 18 wheeler was parked behind my vehicle making it impossible for me to pull out. In general the property is in very poor condition and brings to mind the "roach motel". I usually avoid Days Inn but thought I would try them once more. Never again! Plus I've been itching all over since my stay- Horrible experience!
I experienced the worst stay of my life at any hotel I have every stayed in.
The picture of the hotel on the internet is nothing like the rooms really are. I went down for a wedding on Friday 04/20/2006, and my room was not clean and the ceiling looked like it could have a water leak. The television did not show a good picture. I called the front desk and they offered to move me to other room which I did make the switch on Saturday after I came back from the wedding, and that room was a little better than the first room, but not by much.
The hotel has people living there, this is not a place you want to be because people were coming out of one of the rooms all night long and kids were constantly running and playing. And there were no good services at all.
I checked out of my room on Sunday 04/22/06 traveling back to Dallas Texas and pulled over to hook up my portable DV player only to find out someone had stolen it out of my room. I immediately call the hotel back and was told they are not responsible for anyone thing that comes up missing in the room, I asked to speak with the general manager, and they refused to let me speak with the general manager, they said he is was not in and he wont be back until Monday. I had to turn back around and back to the hotel after trying to get my home to Dallas on Sunday to file a police report. The head man over security was not any help at all and they did not seem to care.
I called and spoke to the general manager on Monday 04-23-06 and explain to him what happened and I wanted my money back for the stay there and the money from my stolen item and he said this is an independently owned and he is not responsible any stolen items and would not try to solve the problem and said he would file this on his insurance and hung-up on me.
I wanted to let you know what type of hotel this is and I know this is not a place you would want to stay if you can't leave your room with out something coming up missing and know one cares. I would not recommend this place for your stay.
