I stayed at this hotel as part of a group - the rooms had an oder that was not pleasant - not a very clean hotel. The biggest and most compelling reason for not staying here though is the place is infested with bed bugs - I was covered with bites fr

We were looking for a good hotel central to tourists spots in Memphis. The staff here was very courteous, picked us from the airport and even took us to Graceland for free.
The rooms and bathrooms were clean and had clean linen, something which is very important for me and my family. The breakfast was really nice, had a lot more than a regular continental b/f (eggs, waffles, french toast, etc).
More than anything, the staff was very helpful and I absolutely loved staying there. We will stay here again on my next trip to Memphis.
the worst hotel i've ever been in

Horrible
The rooms smell, there is hair in the sheets (slept on top of sheets), the showers look like they are never cleaned (we had to shower with flip flops on), the floors are dirty, the breakfast room is run down and disgusting, staff is old and grumpy....

I have stayed in this Days Inn several times before, but this time I noticed a steep decline in service. To begin, I checked in after 3:00 pm and was given a key, but when I got to my room I found it hadn't been cleaned. I called the front desk and was told my room "was marked" as having been cleaned; in other words, they didn't immediately apologize for the inconvenience and I felt they didn't quite believe me. I invited them down to see my room. The maid soon arrived and repeated that the room had "been marked" as cleaned. I asked her to come in and see the piles of towels on the floor, unemptied wastebaskets, etc. She did then apologize and cleaned the room. I decided to ignore the frayed wall covering in the room and the bathtub stopper knob that fell off in my hand when I touched it. Two days later, I got back late in the evening and, once again, found the room had not been cleaned that day. The front desk seemed unconcerned and no maids were on duty then, and I complained again when I checked out the next day. No apology was offered by the front desk clerk, who promised only to "let Housekeeping know." As I walked out, I noticed a pile of rotting garbage in front of the front door, where a trash can had overflowed, in full view of the front desk and everyone who came in the entrance. No one was cleaning it up.

It was very convenient because it was right off the highway. The desk staff was very friendly. However, there were some things I did not like. The room had a door to another room plus doors to the hotel hallway and outside and three doors into the room made us feel insecure. The continental breakfast was hardly worth the name breakfast and it was limited to muffins, cereal and juice. The TV was so old and the image so full of static that it was not watchable. Overall, it was worth the price for travelers, but I would not go there for a vacation.
The front desk staff was very courteous.
I am very likely
