Mediocre
Days Inn Bahia Cabana was redeemed with a free night's stay. This place manages to be acceptable when it's not full, as there was barely enough parking on the lot, the desk clerk said if the lot is full, there is free valet parking available. The...

Horrible
I did like the fact that they had a band and the bar to relax at.My room was down the road from everything and it was a run down Days Inn. I did not like the looks of the motel. I was afraid to be by myself. I didn't like the location of it and it...

The Cabana set up with outside access versus high rise entrance through a lobby.Rooms were a bit run down and old, in need of maintenance. The hotel was quaint. Right on the beach, it was a different setting of small buildings holding 4-8 rooms, all ...

Location.Smell in the room. The location of the hotel was across from the beach. The front staff was friendly. The reason I will not stay there again is because, the room had a very strong disinfectant smell. It smelled like the inside of a rental...

31 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
We stayed at the Days Inn Bahia Cabana Memorial day weekend 2007. I wish I would have read the reviews before I booked it. It was horrendous. First problem was that we were told they were booked in the main hotel (the whole reason we booked there was to be in the main hotel w/ the Jacuzzi accessible to us). We were put way down the block in a broken down yellow building that was also owned by the Days Inn. Upon driving to our building we noticed there was no place to park my car. When we went back to the main building, the valet said he'd park the car, and we walked a block and a half with all of our bags to the room. We had to make 2 trips to carry it all.
When we got inside there was a stench of mold and must. We put our bags down and checked out the room. The first thing we desperately wanted was air conditioning. Well the unit worked barely cooling the room and was loud. I thought the shower was running all the time. Which brings me to the bathroom. I wanted to take a shower but there was a film of grease on the bottom which I almost fell and got hurt because no bath mat was provided. The bathtub was no good because of the grease film and the rust stains by the drain that extended to the top of the tub made me think twice. At least the toilet flushed.
On to the kitchen. The fridge was by far the grossest. A prior guests Pepsi was left in it. The can must have exploded and housekeeping never cleaned it up. The sink had green corrosion encasing the drain. The best was the dining set. The chair looks like some questionable deeds were done on it. The white stains left all over made me not want to dine in the kitchen. So I opted to eat in bed. Not quite the luxury hotel I expected. The television had a picture tube that was on its way out fading in and out of color. The beds were OK but, I am not sure if the sheets were fresh. I slept on top of the blanket for that reason. Pay the extra dollars and stay elsewhere. One last thing, the "beaches largest Jacuzzi" is in the middle of a bar facing the mens bathroom ensuring you will get an eyeful each and every time a drunken person stumbles from the bar to and from it.
