This was under renovation. The first stay room was awful and they gave us a nicer room. The second stay we asked for a courtyard room which was ok. The air conditioning was not adequate though.
I am not likely
to return to the Days Inn Arlington/Washington DC.
I would not recommend it to friends.
30 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for business
We were in DC at the wrong time, since it was graduation time and everything was sold out, except Days Inn, Arlington. I now know why. They totally raised the price of their hotel rooms during graduation, so I ended up paying $149.00 per night. The hotel room was out-dated, tv cables hanging everywhere, the bed was very uncomfortable. I brought my little baby, and this place was definitely not kid-friendly --- especially with all the cables hanging out of the walls. I brought my own sheets, so I know that my baby will not contract any germs (ya never know if the sheets are even washed in motels these days!) The worst part was that I specifically requested no room service, since I already made the bed with my personal sheets. They still came in and cleaned the whole room and took my 500ct sheets. I requested they return them immediately, but they gave me every single excuse alive that they can't find them. Well, that is, did they even attempt to look for them? I will never, and I will say again, never ever return to this motel again. The rooms were dirty, carpet was stained, cables hanging everywhere, the clerks at the front desk were extremely rude and impolite, the list just goes on. Please be aware of this place.
