Days Inn Arlington Hotel

The location is close to Washington DC, in a busy semi urban area with shops and restaurants very close by and public transportation also close by. Free parking and free light breakfast are included, plus there are twenty four hour Dunkin Donuts and McDonald's places across the street. A Thai restaurant is located in the building too. About a block away is a movie theatre that serves food, wine and beer. The building is older and it could perhaps use some renovations here and there. The rooms open onto outside terraces over the parking lot. There can be some traffic noise from the busy street outside but the air conditioning unit allowed me to keep the windows closed so I did not hear it. It was not a bad deal for the money if you are not expecting a luxury hotel, which can be very expensive in the DC area.

It was convenient to Arlington National Cemetery. Allow an hour to get to the cemetery. Take the bus to the Pentagon Station to catch the tube to DC.

They provide basic accommodations.

Our Room was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were extremely helpful to us with everything we asked. Our group feels they bent over backwards for us. We plan on staying there again.

This hotel made me feel important: The staffs always paid attention to you. They talked to you and were very polite. You were the center of attention there.
