This hotel is conveniently located right on the #1 highway. There is nothing much around it but if all you want is a place to spend the night it serves that purpose well. It was obviously recently built or at least remodelled. Everything was in great condition. Our room (a double) was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The waterslide was a bit fast for young kids and a parent needed to go down with them but they got used to it and would have been a lot of fun for older kids (6 years+). A computer in the lobby provided internet access. As there were very few people wanting to use it I was able to send a number of e-mails in the evening. Breakfast was continental with fresh croissants, nicely presented and gave a good start to the day. My only complaint was the price, at $110 for a double it seemed a bit steep.

The Days Inn Medicine Hat was clean, modern and well-staffed. I stayed in a business-class room on the 4th floor. I appreciated the key-card access floor for a quiet night during a busy weekend. The king bed was comfortable, the air-conditioner was whisper quiet and the decor was stylish. (No ugly bedspreads here.) The in-room desk provided adequate space for business purposes. Amenities included complimentary water & a granola bar in the room at check in. The continental breakfast was well-staffed and the small dining room was very well maintained during the busy morning hours. The staff made it feel like a home away from home with personal greetings. I look forward to my next stay at this fabulous property.

The continental breakfast was good - but get their early - because everyone knows it's good! The rooms were clean and fresh. A nice place to stay! Friendly...
