Excellent
A very warm, friendly environment with great rooms. Very well maintained and clean. Only wished rooms had refrigerators, other than that, a great, relaxing place to stay.
Warm smiles, attention to detail, cut fresh fruit and surprised me with a plate. Unique mugs. All make for a pleasant place ro conduct business meetings.
This inn is among the nicest I have ever stayed in, it combines the comfort and amenities of a larger hotel with the warmth and friendliness of a small bed and breakfast.
The rooms are spacious, clean and light. The lobby/living room is comfortable and welcoming with a wood burning fire in the winter and a computer by the window for your use. The breakfast is ample with plenty of choice. It's an easy walk to Davidson College and to neighboring restaurants. You can enjoy an early morning run on the cross country trails of the College.
Just about the only problem with the Inn is that one has to book well in advance and when you can't get a room, the remaining choices are sad in comparison.
Beautiful inn blending the best of a quaint and classic B and B with the modern amenities of hotels. What a great getaway! Four poster bed, thick linens, classic design. Knowledgeable and friendly staff who are very helpful. We'll go back! Try...
