Our trip to New Orleans was our first, and certainly won't be out last. Despite the fact that this hotel does not have as many stars as more popular chain hotels, I would HIGHLY recommend it to friends and family! We arrived to our hotel early and were able to check in (3 hours early!) We were given our free drink tickets and were very impressed with our room. Although we'd been warned about the elevator, it was not as creepy or old as I had expected. The mattresses were clearly new, and very comfortable. Big flat screen tv, nice view, nice sized bathroom with plush bathrobe and toiletry items. The staff was all very friendly and helpful, pool was soothing and always available, and even a great jacuzzi right across the narrow street (with your room key). We especially enjoyed the free continental breakfast which included teas, coffee, juices, cereals, waffle maker, fresh fruit....etc. etc! We received lots of great advice from staff, and are already planning our trip back here. Only complaint-the hotel is already booked in April for the jazz fest!!!
