I have never written a review but feel this one is necessary for those bargin hunters like myself looking for an affordable deal. You know the saying,"You get what you pay for." In this case you didn't even get that. Housekeeping if any was not good. The bathroom was disgusting. Someones dried up toothpaste was in the sink along with a drainful of hair in the tub. As I was cleaning the mess my feet were sticking to the floor and to conclude that room we had no toilet paper for two days. For a non smoking room there was alot of cigarette burns around. The sheets had burn marks and were dirty and changed once in my four night stay. They did offer breakfast but the donuts looked like they were yesterdays left overs. To sum up this review as we were leaving out the door, terminex was coming in the door to exterminate. Bottom line. My child asked what I would rate this hotel and I stated "NEGATIVE ZERO" If you decide to stay here I recommend bringing Lysol, rubber gloves and your own bedding.

The Crystal Inn rooms have an attractive appearance, however it is deceiving. I had a 5 day stay. 2 days, the beds were made but the linens were not changed. 1 day housekeeping never came. The bathroom was not cleaned, only folded towels were placed in bath. The microwave was very dirty and had an odor. The ironing board was broken. The "breakfast" was to be served between 6:30 to 9:30AM with coffee all day. Well by 6:45 the donuts were gone. Another day the "all day coffee" was put away @9:20AM. If you are a tall person, good luck with the shower, the shower head is very low.

Good value and the location is great, real short drive to the shore, Asbury park and what not. Stayed here for a concert, not bad. The room was decent and the pool nice, although the breakfast wasn't great. Definitely the best value in the area and much better than some of the dumps around there.
