Radio City Music Hall and Rockefeller Center are within three blocks of the property. Grand Central Station is one mile east of the hotel. Hotel Features. The hotel, which completed an $85 million renovation in December 2008, features silver-etched columns of wood and stone. The full-service Brasserie 1605 serves gourmet dishes and comfort cuisine. Broadway 49 is a full bar serving 89 varieties of Scotch, signature cocktails and martinis. Both overlook the bright lights of Broadway. The hotel's 29,000 square foot health club and rooftop indoor heated pool with a glass ceiling are available for a fee. The hotel offers more than 24,000 square feet of meeting space, two business centers including one open 24 hours and wireless Internet access for a fee. Guestrooms. The hotel's 770 guestrooms were renovated in December 2008 and offer views of the Manhattan skyline, Times Square or the river. 37-inch flat-panel televisions come with video games and pay movies. Wireless Internet access is available for a fee. Clock radios include CD players and MP3 docks. Laptop-compatible safes are provided. We stayed two nights and were extremely satisfied with beautifully renovated rooms, bathrooms and lobby; room service was terrific and use of full L.I. Sport gym. We were upgraded to concierge floor upon asking for an upgrade with a beautiful view. Great location.

Upon checking in asked if it was possible for upgrade, got upgraded to concierge floor-very nice. Recently renovated room and bathroom and lobby-all lovely. Room service was excellent. Great location. From my experience would highly recommend.

We visited NYC 2/6-2/8 to see 3 Broadway plays. The location was excellent, we walked to them all. I felt very safe in the hotel. After 11pm, the doorman has to see your room key to let you enter. The rooms have been remodeled since I was there...
