Crowne Plaza San Marcos Golf Resort

My husband and I were told about this golf resort in Chandler Arizona and we wanted to know more about it.. We went online and checked it out and then decided hey lets take a trip..

We arrived at the hotel from the airport (which by the way is only 25 minutes away from the resort... very conveinent) about mid-afternoon.. the Front Desk Staff was very friendly, the bellmen had our bags on the cart and ready to go before we were even done checking in. The Concierge was very helpful in letting us know what to do around here as far as fun, dining, and so on.

Our room was kept up very nicely through out our stay.. Housekeeping was very good at cleaning our room while we were out. The Restaraunt Staff was on top of their game, the food there was very tasty. The Bar Staff was very professional and they did their jobs really well.

Our stay there was nothing short of SPECTACULAR!! We recommend this Resort to anyone that enjoys history and that old town feel.

The hotel was quite nice and enjoyable, it is quite clean and quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I had major issues with my billing though. They showed me a room with a refrigerator when I had checked the place before booking and then assigned me a room with no fridge and demanded extra charges for it.

They overcharged me while I was still staying there. Luckily, I noticed the charges and informed them and they corrected it.

After I checked out, they again charged my credit card without informing me.

We love the San Marcos hotel and we return as often as we can. Problems are resolved quickly they keep it up well. We are there often enough to know what to expect. They have a nice golf course, moderate rates and just a lovely vacation spot near our family in Arizona.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: It is a lovely, picturesque place with a beautiful pool surrounded by flowers and palm trees. You can walk to the local library, post office and several very nice restaurants so that you are not limited to hotel food. And, best of all, our family can come to visit us there. It is like a home away from home for us.

The place is very, very nice. Actually, we love it and we have returned several times. However, their reservation policy confuses us. When we complained, we were then given a room with a view of the gardens. We feel that a little more care should have been taken regarding our accommodations.

We love the hotel and people. However, we were suppose to have a refrigerator in our room upon arrival. That didn't happen for 4 or 5 days and we had to use Styrofoam coolers and ice buckets. It was a very busy time for the resort, but they should have planned ahead. On the up side, it is a great place and we will, hopefully, return.
